Members jaytee
Okay, so in the thread about piano tuning... stansilverman mentioned a tack piano. You know, the whole honky thing. Well, I'm a big fan of acoustic instruments, and I've always liked the sound of tack pianos and wanted to add them to a few of our more fast blues-rock tunes but I never knew where to find one, or of a keyboard that had a good patch. But then, I read "OR - put tacks in the hammers, and you'll have a great honky-tonk!". Is that really all a tack piano is? A piano with tacks in the hammers? Yes Its a cool sound, but I still stick to the patch on my kurzweil rather than modifying my story and clark piano:thu:
