What's legotto and the other one mean?

What's legotto? And there's another term that goes with it??

Legato - play notes long so that they run into each other.

For guitar: If the notes are on different strings, you can let the previous note ring on a little after you play the next one.

 

Staccato - play notes short (half normal value).

For guitar: Mute with left hand after playing a note.

Legato is supposed to mean smoothly, so when applied to guitars would usually involve hammer-on/pull-off technique.
