This weeks video lesson is what I am calling a "Goodie Bag"...instead of a lesson on just one idea I have a couple of smaller ideas that are loosely connected by the concept of Hybrid picking. http://blog.markwein.com I have examples on walking bass lines with the pick while using the fingers to comp chords, double stops and a chicken picking lick that is somewhere between Brad Paisley and Eddie Van Halen. Please let me know what you think of the "Goodie Bag" idea...I wanted to present a few useful items for players at different skill levels that could just be be dropped into their existing chops instead of something that could take a month or two to perfect and be useful....
