Members LPTwin Posted March 3, 2009 Members Share Posted March 3, 2009 anyone tried IntelliScore Ensemble program or the Quickscore Elite program for converting .wav files into MIDI for further outputting via written score?the intelliscore claims polyphonic, multi note (chord), multi instrument conversion but i'm wondering if this is accurate enough for further transcription into a written score.the quickscore product seems to imply that you can import .wav files and get scores from them but doesn't really come out a say it, as far as i can tell. if anyone has direct experience with these programs or something similar that will allow automated conversion of a recorded song into a written score, please speak up and share. thanksEdit/Delete Message Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Members benagain Posted March 3, 2009 Members Share Posted March 3, 2009 ive messed w programs like you mention but always seem to have to do so much post editing thats is just easier to tab it all out by ear and transcribe ( program name) then to d@#k around w those things .. i try and use them then realize ive just wasted an hour or two with nothing to show .. but that just may be me ...
