Members Will Chen
Just noticed the newest version of the Sm Pro Audio V-Machine has an 1/8" input (in addition to USB ports). Seems like this might make a great portable host for Amplitube or Revalver. Any one running a system like this?

Members Will Chen
http://www.smproaudio.com/produkte/v-machines/v-machine.html It has a stereo 1/8" audio input and the manual implies using it for applying VST processing to an input signal but does not actually mention the AD/DA specs. Members Will Chen
Oh my god. I could think of a ton of uses for that beast. Wow. Check out the other V-Machines they're planning to release. Supposedly, the V-Rack will be available very soon with a price tag in the low $1000 range...significantly less than the MUSE Receptor or Axe-Fx. EDIT - The documentation is clear on page 19, this puppy can be used to process an audio signal. A bit pricey but looks like a great portable and durable alternative to lugging a laptop... Members germanicus2112
A netbook is way less than half the price of these.
Members Will Chen
A netbook is way less than half the price of these. A net book doesn't fit on a pedal board. Also, based on many companies activation policies would require the purchase of a second license to keep the program active on both machines and you have to contend with an OS not intended for heavy audio processing. That being said, have you had any success running something like AmpliTube on a Netbook?
