Members MDLMUSIC
I picked up this gizmo at the NAMM show last week. It's the YouRock Guitar, a combination MIDI/Synth/Game controller. Some of the sounds are so-so, but some sound pretty decent. I don't play Rock Band or Guitar Hero, nor do I have any MIDI equipment, but I thought it would be kind of cool to use this for live performance in a solo act. If nothing else, it should get the audience's attention. Many years ago I used to use a Casio PG-380 synth guitar in my oldies show band and the audience always ate it up when I'd throw a trombone or organ solo into the middle of a tune. Anybody else ever tried one of these YRG's?

Members Polaris20
I've had two. They're toys that are pretty useless to me for triggering MIDI, despite attempts by the maker to upgrade the firmware. You get what you paid for.
