Members JimVW
Pneumonia a few times (cough cough hack cough cough). I'm still pretty susceptible to it. Strep once, and the antibiotics didn't kick it and I went into septic shock. I was playing a gig and realized my heart was racing. I made it through the gig and went into the emergency room. My blood pressure was way low, and the ER staff was very concerned. Coincidentally, our singer/frontman went there after the gig too, with a major kidney stone. He got the better meds. Members Headlow
I had a viral infection a couple of weeks ago. I had a rash, sore throat, and my joints all siezed up. Now the doctor tells me I have icthiosis. It's basically dry skin. The skin is peeling off all over my body, but especially on my back and hands. He says its quite common after a bad virus. The worst thing is that my calluses on my fretting hand have all peeled off, so its like starting guitar all over again.
Members omor
idiopathic pancreatitus, spent many o' months in the hospital with it, had a stent placed in my pancreas that has fallen out several times. almost died after internally bleeding resulting from the stent falling out and cutting me up inside. Lets just say I'm a seasoned veteran of puking both vomit and blood. side note not for the weak-stomached: after internally bleeding was patched up in ICU, my farts smelled like death for a week.I've developed hepatitus after a month or two of one form of treatment, my liver was shot.I've been border line strep throat in the past month, my sister had it and I just never really allowed myself to start coughing a lot, there's also been TB in the air for a while lately. IM AT RISK AHHother than that, I'm as healthy as an ox, aside from the vegan diet i adapted to keep my pancreas happy, I'm pretty malnurished
Members arcarsenal72
Caught Lyme disease in high school... wouldn't wish that on anyone. Didn't have joint pain; instead it decided to attack my gut. Crippling stomach pain. A bunch of bouts with Staph in the past couple years, like blepharitis, for some damn reason. But, knock on wood, I haven't had one in a year.

Members k tone
I don't know if this qualifies but I just got over a bout of Recurrent Corneal Erosion. When I would go to sleep at night the surface of my eyeball would fuse to my eyelid and when I opened my eyes in the morning it would rip the surface of my eye off. It was the most pain that I have ever endured. First I went and got my cornea scraped but that only lasted a month or two. It was deemed that PTK/ Lasik surgery would be required ($3800 out of pocket). They basically scalpelled of my corneas and then roughed up my eye with lasers to allow the new cells something to adhere to. The specialist told me that before lasers they did this procedure on the eye with a tattoo needle. They did the correction while they were in there as well. This was in Feb with no recurrences (knock on wood). I would not wish that pain/ semi-blindness/ double vision on anyone.
