Members mofx4me
I always freeze when it comes to picking something to play at soundchecks. a couple of weeks I vowed to learn the Cure's "Push" for soundchecks. I'll let everyone know if I ever do.
Members sdre
we used to play mew's comforting sounds for soundcheck. minus the vocals. people used to think we have started playing then. cause we get so damn loud for the song.

Members jackfendeyrockandroll
"B" power chord. down strokes only. i rarely play only power chords during our set but i think that it gives the soundman something consistent to EQ with. Members superpoo
ive never played a show, but i imagine if i had to play something it'd be the riff at 2.55 from "aesthetic" by between the buried and me. its my favorite riff to play. sounds awesome and is good for warming up because of the slides and stretches. Members Stoney Stomp
I usually start clean with Jeff Buckley's So Real and then move to crunchy stuff with Zeppelin's Custard Pie. Nice full chords with good highs, mids and lows..so i can hear the full range of tones

Members ZED
Nothing in particular. A clean riff - something county-ish usually, a few crunchy chords and a few seconds of full volume single note stuff. Something to give the soundperson an idea of my levels and what sounds I'll use. Not that they care or do anything really, but it makes me feel like I did my part to make things a little better.
Members Wilbo26
Open E chord in standard tuning. Then an A, then lots of power chords. then a tap solo, some pinch harmonics and a good dose of whammy dives.
Members Fourth Floor
The B-section of Marquee Moon where it runs up and down the scale going into the Verlaine solo.often i play the opening riff of that just to see the people whose ears prick up.
