Fresh ones are much better. But not them Mexican ones, they totally suck, and they're stringy and nasty. Try a Hatian mango (those yellow ones). Of course, the absolute best mango in the world is a variety from Bombay called Alphonso. OMG. I might be in Bombay in September. When's mango season?
