Members Vince
I'm sure this has been asked before, but how do you use your fuzz? I think I'm a fuzz into slightly dirty amp for a Hendrixy vibe. Discuss:)
Members CS
I didnt vote as I alternate between the first three options.
Members troubbble
I get more fuzz when playing through a clean amp. The distortion kind of smooths it out. I'll go either way though.
Members AbbeSauniere
I like a touch of dirt with my fuzz pedals, but I use humbuckers most of the time. Lately I've just been going straight into the amp though...

Members thebazaar
Fuzz into the cleanest fender amp i can get... Only way. I do sometimes boost the peachfuzz with the Jekyll and Hyde's 808 side. But the peachfuzz cant be set past 12oclock fuzz.
Members TIKILOCKEDOUT
It depends on the amp I'm using ... if it's the Bandmaster Reverb then it's a clean amp. If it's the Sound City then it's a medium gain amp ... just depends and I adjust the signal and my usage from there generally.
Members nosebleed
Big Muff into clean amp, lately i've been using my od-2 with it, interesting tones and i'm able to smooth the harshness of the muff as well as add some definition for leads, and as well get the muff to feedback a little for sonic madness. Members StompboxMan
Anyway it goes it comes out better! ZVEX Machine>Fuzz Factory>Nano Head (slight distortion). The unique sound of brand recognition.
Members mrblackbat
Always have a clean amp with my Fuzz Probe. Though sometimes I stick a Machine and Blue Box in front of it, too....
Members Biz Markie
Usually I set the amp for a clean sound then run my distortion/fuzz into that. This way you can get a wider variety of tones when you roll off the volume on the guitar. I don't like the way dist/fuzz before the amp interacts with the amps distortion. Members jonny guitar
I think fuzz really needs a tube amp on the verge to fully come alive. If I can't afford the volume to get the PT's working I use a boost after the fuzz. I think it not only sounds better but gives more useable range of sounds from mayhem to clean by using the guitars knobs.

Me too, I play my AC30 at almost full volume and use fuzz to get the saturation that my amp could never deliver on it's own.
Members SupernovaN2310
i used to run mine through clean amps, exclusively. i dont have any fuzz pedals right now. i do have an mjm london fuzz II on order and i assume it'll be the same way.
