Any ideas? A month, two months, "tis ready when tis ready"?

I've got a prototype that I'm still tinkering with. Probably the best thing to do is just build an exact clone of the Zero and sub out the transistors, and just make some very minor adjustments if needed. I've already gone too far and need to step back again! I'll try to have a 'final' configuration done sometime next week, and then more testing with other users before production.

Plus I've been obsessing with my new overdrive design. Damn it takes a lot of work to get an OD 'just right!' You've got to deal with noise, retain clarity, get the tone knob to vary a nice, useable range, and let the user dial in a large range of subtle variations in distortion. The circuits I'm working with are touchy and dynamic (as opposed to the typical TubeScreamer-based designs that are pretty stable and homogenous), and I tend to work mostly with my ears and trial-and-error when I tweek tones; so it's very time consuming at this stage.
