Members JM_Sherwood 62 Posted August 24, 2005 Members Posted August 24, 2005 My question is...Is it worth getting the CP-251 to use with Moogerfooger's like the Ring-Mod, Phaser and Murf without having the Moog low-pass (MF-101) or Moog delay. Are there some really useable combinations to be had with the CP-251 and a Moog Ring-Mod or the Phaser or Murf? I'm hearing that the Moog low-pass filter sucks by itself but shines with the CP-251, how would the Moog MF-101 compare to the Pigtronix? Thanks
Members NITEFLY182 Posted August 24, 2005 Members Posted August 24, 2005 the only thing people generally use it for is the filter sample and hold effect with the low pass. you could doo cool stuff with the ring mod frequency and some sample/hold. the white noise thing is cool as well.

You just have to fiddle with it for a bit to get good results with a guitar in my opinion.
