Members ginnboonmiller
Who's heard them? I had heard an awful lot about how great this band is, but I never bothered to check them out. Somewhere they became myspace buddies with Ocrabanza. I'm checking them out. It's nice. But what's really weird: I went to college with the drummer - we were pretty good friends and I occasionally wondered what he was up to, and at the same time wondering what this Deerhoof thing was all about. Had no idea until just now that those were the same wonderings. Huh.

I think I enjoy seeing them more live than listening to the albums.

Does he do the multi-instrumental thing with Deerhoof? Because he had an absolutely super-human ability to learn instruments in college.

Members pontiusplaymate
I was introduced to them by forumite (x-forumite?) 80k a couple months ago. The two albums I've heard kick major ass. Don't know what else to say. They R cool. But I bet they ain't as cool as Ocrabanza.

Members vacuum noise
dont forget Milkman! does anyone know what effects they use? It seems like mostly distortion pedals, One looked kinda like a little big muff with 2 small knobs and it was painted white.... they should really have a gear section on there website. Members opiepac
Yeah they're newest album, Runners Four, kicks major ass. Great guitar riffage. I've heard its more rockin' than their previous albums, which I've only listened to a little bit. Great band.
Members voerking
i love them. GBM- john, the guitarist in deerhoof was in colossamite, who had a split 7" with your bandmate's old band white tornado. the world just got a little smaller. Members DanyoSound
I like them, but when I saw them I imagined the singer to be pretty and I was wrong. I still like them, and at least her voice is cute.

Members themeanreds
A whole lot of cutesy annoying with moments of breathtaking brilliance. To these ears, anyway. When it's on, it's super-on though.
Members vacuum noise
Im a little dissapointed with the new album actualy, people will probobaly say its more "mature" but they lost a little bit of that edge that the earlier albums had.... I stil lov them tho being that they are a band that is doing something interesting and taking risks.
Members auditorium
deerhoof is super cool. their live record is very solid, in that they bring their very unique aesthetic to life.
