Members Sir Don
Here is an effects unit for sale on ebay Item number 7350889929. (For some reason if I post the link it doesn't work) Here is a site with the exact same description http://www.effectsdatabase.com/reviews/560/ Do you think it's ok to "borrow" the description? Bear in mind it could be the same guy, but I somehow doubt it. Is this an accurate description of the product? Who knows.
Members Zooey
It's copyright infringement. That said, the individual who wrote that review is unlikely to notice or care that someone borrowed it for the text of an auction. If the author does take offense, eBay may pull the auction in response to a complaint (provided eBay takes the complaint seriously and acts in time). If you rip off marketing language from a manufacturer's website, however, you'll probably see your auction get nuked by eBay's VERO department. They're much more prompt when responding to complaints from manufacturers.
