Members ck3 Posted October 27, 2005 Members Share Posted October 27, 2005 After all of the OT/parroty drivel that I've posted today, I figured that it might be high time for somehting on topic. In the past two weeks, all of my TB pedals have started to pop when I engage or bypass them. This has seemed to coincide with the arrival of my Magicstomp, but, given my recent grounding issues, I wanted to make certain that something more serious was not afoot. My rig presently has three preamps in it ... would these amplify the bypass noise of my TB pedals or do I need to get six different resistors replaced? Members Brian Marshall Posted October 27, 2005 Members Share Posted October 27, 2005 sounds like there is some dc leakage somewhere... i have noticed the same problem with my microcube... infact even at clean setting im finding the microcube really noisey... even my boss pedals have a slight pop with it. That would be the most rudimentary troubleshooting strategy, eh? I'll probably go through the trouble of dismantling everything later this evening.
