I could speak of Hispanic trumpet players forever. Caribbean trumpet players (and, incidentally, percussionists) are arguably the best in the world. Of course, I'm including New Orleans as part of the Caribbean diaspora. Nobody, I said NObody can beat Cuban or New Orleans-an trumpet players. The kids I saw busking on the street in NOLA could kick my ass 10 ways to Chicago

For sure. Loads of good ones out there. Everyone knows Arturo Sandoval, for instance!

 

It seems Europe turns out some excellent classical trumpeters. Allison Balsom, Maurice Andre, Timofei Dokshizer, etc.

 

And Nebraska turns out...cows.
