Anyone know of good "transfer paper" for one-off t-shirt designs?

I want to start making my own chic t-shirts and such but don't have the money (or time) for a screen printing set up.

 

Anyone know of good thermal transfer paper that won't wash off in the laundry with-in a month?

 

... or maybe another alternative?

I have made a LOT of t-shirt transfers in my day. The best advice I can give you is learn to screenprint if you want your shirts to last.
