Members piper19 Posted December 19, 2005 Members Share Posted December 19, 2005 I tried them both and don't like them both. CE-5 is versatile, a bit greater range than the CH-1. CH-1 sounded a bit warmer but was only good at 1 setting. The CH-1 is more sensitive (mine was) to bad current. It hummed with a cheap adaptor, the CE5 did not with that same adaptor. But no problem with my Voodoolab power. The CH-1 has an EQ, the CE-5 has a filter and thus cuts your signal when used.
