Members houseofglass21
I used to have the Prescription Experience which sounded awesome, but had trouble cutting through with it in a band setting. I wanna get another tone machine of some sort for recording and home playing just because I dig the sound so much. Which is better, the Foxx reissue or the Fulltone Ultimate Octave? It's nice that the octave is switchable on the Fulltone, but I'm just wondering which one would cut through better.

Members spaceshot
they are all different, i love my presciption experience but it doesn't have the grit or the balls of the tone machine. in a less than optimal enivironment the fulltone seemed like the presription without the added switching- they are both smoother and bloomy- while in likewise less than optimal conditions the reissue tone machine I tried was true to the original-spitty and very up front on the attack- too bad the reissues are so expensive... Members gr8fuldodd
I'm seriously considering the Ultimate Octave or a Sunface but I kinda want that octave too hell, I don't know what I want to do
Members carlygtr56
Two more to consider- the Ronsound Stone Machine and the Retroman Wolftone Machine.. I got both. Both let you switch the octave on/off
