Members porsch8
I;m using a MIJ DD-3 I would've thought the delay time would've been much less...like 75 ms

Members Eddie
Some really good PF links. Do a search within them and you'll find many settings: http://www.gilmourish.com/ (Sorry, I thought I had 2 links but found only one)

Members pinkjimiphoton
what part of the song are you talking about?i generally do a long delay, around 460ms or so with a lot of repeats, but extremely faint.you CAN use a really short delay tho to get a similar rythym guitar tone...i'm talking like 20-30ms or less...just crank the time up until it sounds right. Members BanjoKeith
If you're using too much reverb, it can throw off your delay setting. Make sure to only use a dab of the verb, and then 300-400 ms (as mentioned above) for delay. For the intro slide parts, you might need a tad longer delay, but stick to 310ish for the solos. Members mightysasquatch
That solo is also just SOAKED in reverb, which contributes to the ambience of the delay. Don't forget the Big Muff as well.
Members Wilbo26
Also, I think keeping the repeats somewhat faint is key. Otherwise you hear too many extra notes instead of getting that huge cavernous sound.
