Members Shadyhall-800
Ok the footswitch works only with the footswitch cable that was provided with the footswitch with my amp (ampeg reverberocket). I've tried using longer 1/4" instrument cables for outdoor shows/ larger stages but the footswitch won't work at all with the other cables. Anybody know the deal with this? It's annoying for situations where my pedalboard is farther from my amp. Thanks.

Guest Anonymous
is the ampeg cable a stereo type or mono ? see if the rings on the tip of the ends are the same.
Members Shadyhall-800
There's 2 rings on the Ampeg cable slingshot, I'm assuming that means it's stereo (1 fat, 1 skinny)? Are there longer cables like this available at a guitar center?
Members pinkjimiphoton
that's called a t/r/s (tip/ring/sleeve)and yah, any old trs to trs cable should work.
Members Sir H C
On the nose. You can get them there, or extension cables for headphones work too (usually there is no signal going through the cable, only Fender did that so shielding is not usually needed).
