Members mr.sosa
I have never owned a wah pedal, so I don't know which one to buy im basically looking for something that: keeps my eq setting pretty much the same is simple to use versatile nothing fancy (good price) i think i would use it for soloing mostly.. but I wouldn't mind it being good for chords and stuff too what do you recommend? i don't want to buy something and mod it. how about something good right out of the box? how much does it raise a note? how much does it last? is it modern or vintage sounding? any input welcome. thanks guys
Members BP90
Vox 848 or Dunlop 535Q would be the best sounding out of the box for not too much dough... The Buddha wahs are nice too but I think they are a little pricier
Members sense_of_henry
When on, wahs are going to manipulate your EQ; that is basically how they work. I like Dunlop wahs, I have a couple Crybaby pedals. I am saving to get one modded by Keeley so that I can have more than one option.

Regular Crybabys sound fine when in use, but really suck your tone when they're off.
