Members Electric I
Anyone test drive one of these? How close do the A & A/B style distortions sound to the real thing? The added eq & programmability sure make it look good on paper... Double Drive 3X

As I was saying in the other thread - had a gt-2 a few years back & it served me well. But my ears/tastes have changed & I no longer care for it. Members GTM
As I said in your other thread, all good stuff too. I have both the American Woman & original Double drive. The AW pedal can do the Doubledrive but the doubledrive can't do the Americanwoman. So if you were gonna spring for one I would say say go for the AW. Members Electric I
A belated thank you. Almost sprang for the AW, but my gut tells me to wait for the 3X. Cheers
Members Jack Straw
Any one have one of these or play one? How about the original? Thanks..
Members overdriven1
I was lookin for an overdrive for my laney aor 30, i tried a smashbox but it wasn't what i was looking for, then just about tripped on this pedal on my way out the door, what a breath of fresh air to have the DoubleDrive in front of my amp. The guitar signal is not lost, the sound of both the guitar and the amp shine through and true. I am pretty close to findin my tone.
Members RUExp?
I imagine it sounds like the standard Double Drive pedal, just programmable. Have you listened to the clips on their website? There's 4 clips on the Musician's Friend website too. http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Tech-21-Double-Drive-Cascading-Dual-Distortion-Pedal?sku=480219 The XXL is a pretty cool pedal too. Members Mike McLenison
Any one have one of these or play one? How about the original? Yeah, I've got a SansAmp original thats been on my pedalboard for 12 years! I love the tone. Below is a pic of my current rig and a You Tube video with me on the right playing my Gibby SG-61 through it.
