The refereeing has been {censored}e in this WC. ripped off? no.the adjudication was very good in the first few games, but the last couple of days have been bad, for sure. still, without doing a count I suspect it has been better than 2 to 1 in terms of good games versus bad ones.still, there have been far worse world cups in terms of refereeing in my memory, 1990 certainly comes to mind as a consistently poor one. We must have been watching different games...and I'm not talking about the Oz - Japan game which was also pretty dodgey in parts.The spot penalty against the USA was complete fluff and probably changed the result of the game...but you're right, it was just deserts.
