Members The Idiot
This has probably been done to death, but I must say, as a boost, I think the orginal TS-9 is smoother, more professional sounding than the SD-1 for leads and rhythm. Am I nuts?
Members booher
I don't think that my TS9DX is very clean when I have no gain on and only level boosting. Depends on the setting, though, and how much volume I'm running on my BJ. I usually have the master pretty low, so that's probably my problem. Members dunnoaname
I Would definitively say the TS. I owned both and did a comparison. The TS sound a lot fuller and smoother the SD-1 is just thin.
Members DragonFire
SD-1 is about 1/3rd the cost here in the UK. To be honest I simply never had
Members Yngwylde
the ts9 brings a lot more mids and less high, the ds 1 works well with a marshall but with the tone knob rolled down
Members wwwe
well, TS9 is usually called the "lube", but personally i feel that's a little bit phlegmy.
