Members agentcooper2001
What type do I need to buy for pedals? I changed a few things on my crybaby wah and now it's not working at all. I installed the TB switch and that worked fine. I changed 2 or 3 caps and now it's not working when engaged, but in bypass the signal goes through. Do I need a multi-meter to see where the problem is? If so, let me know what kind I need to buy and where to get it.

Members Sir H C
Most any digital multi-meter will do. How much more do you plan on doing in the future? If you just need to see resistances, voltages, and currents a basic meter will work for you. If you need more (capacitance values, frequency, beta, etc.) you need to look at the higher end models. Members cusackmusic
Flukes have better tone, but for trouble shooting, any cheap meter will do. The cheaper ones aren't as accurate, and are slower to respond, neither of which are that important when you are testing a switch, etc.
Members utterhack
I think I got mine for 30 bucks at Fry's. It's a pretty light-duty application, so you don't need much in the way of features. Just make sure it measures in small enough increments

I'm only modding a wah pedal, i'm not designing a tzf flanger here. I had it working, i must have a cold solder joint or something. That's why I asked. Members agentcooper2001
cool, i'll give that a shot. I had it working fine just now for a minute and all of a sudden, when the wah would be in torward the heel position, it would just squeal really loud. I don't know what the {censored} is up with it now.
