Members ode2no1 Posted June 29, 2006 Members Share Posted June 29, 2006 cause the power is distributed fairly evenly when it goes from the amp into the speakers. the higher rated speaker isnt really going to steal more power away from the incoming signal and make sure the lower powered speaker doesnt take in more than it can handle. I wouldn't use a cab that had variable watts on the speakers, but as long as you aren't feeding an amp thats more than 30 watts into it I don't see why it would be a major problem.
