Members gdh
I have read various posts over the past that told of ppl really enjoying the Z1. My question to those of you who have experience with it - do you think that this and the radias will be too much overlap? I have never played a Z1 but have an opportunity to get one at a good price I wish that the search function was working as many of you do as well. Members flat earth
Well, if the search function was working, you'd see that i am a great crusader for this synth I stupidly sold mine to get another board, but would like to replace it at some point. You wont find a better used synthesizer for the money IMHO. It is an incredibly deep and unique sounding synth, it can sound soft and tame, or wild and unpredictable. It also has that awesome polyphonic arpeggiator. If you are looking for Jupiter/Juno type sounds, this board can actually do a pretty good job. Listen to STG's Coloopstomy (in honour of Trent Keeling) here: http://www.suitandtieguy.com/audio.htm (Suit, hope you dont mind me putting up your page again) The string type sound towards the end of the song is a Z1. I was convinced when i 1st heard it, that it was a Jupiter/Juno. Not too sure if the Radias is an overlap, but id say get it anyway, its a great controller board, very high quality keybed. Theres a few sound demos here: http://www.deepsonic.ch/deep/htm/korgz1.php
