Members robbo12
hey, I picked up a 5150 II a while ago and have got a great metal tone out of it, but I was wondering if there is a pedal or pedals I should look at that can do any of the following. smoothen out the clean channel, tighten up the low end, make the highs cut through better for soloing. The only pedal im currently using is a boss NS2 noisegate and the head is being played through a carvin legacy 2x12 cab. thanks
Members anti-flag193
The Digitech Bad Monkey will tighten up a 5150 and enhance the highs. It won't do much for the clean though.
Members CicadaSilence
Try a compressor. I like the DOD Milkbox, but you're going to hear a lot of "Barber Tone Press" any second now.

Members robbo12
the TS9 was actually the pedal I had in mind. Would you know of any before and after clips? from what I hear it will tighten the low end, help the highs cut through, and add a bit of body. Is that all true?
