Members program_insect
Anybody use any MFB products? I never even heard of them until just now when I was browsing the Analog Haven site. They have an all-analog drum machine for under $300. Can anybody here speak on the quality/versatility of their products?

Members kazper
I checked the drum machine out... sounded good on the speakers that was available. It wasn't like playing with it at home but I spent allot of time with it. I will say that the thing is tiny... like small... very small. I wouldn't want to try and twist the knobs at a gig in a smoke filled dark club stage. It made me miss the XOX units that I had over the years. If the MFB502 wasn't so damm small (I Would probably loose it in my studio somewhere) I would have bought it.
Members stikygum
Mother F$#kin Best gear! Hell yeah! Their filter is top notch and they're just releasing the Multifilter - BP,LP,HP with RM, dist., comp, 2 LFOs, 3 sequencers for anything plus more. Can't wait to buy one. Members Qwave
They are in business over 15 or 20 years !!! They always made rather affordable products. But all of them suffer from a to small front panel for all those knobs.
Members J3RK
Here's a nice page with info about them: http://www.sequencer.de/syns/mfb I've heard that the 502 drum module sounds a lot like a CR78. (softer than X0X)
Members Mook
I've heard only one mp3 demo of this unit which is on the MFB website, and that seems to have quite a bit of background noise. Is that typical for the unit or is it just a poor demo?
Members donaldcrunk
yeah, i'm mildly interested in this too. i just decided to get a Filterbox to run my various rhythm boxes into, i thought that might be cool. i'd like to get some more info on the MFB Kult too, that thing looks kind of cute. I remember the synthlite i played with didn't sound all that good, hopefully their other stuff sounds a bit better. i'm really excited about that filterbox, though. Members program_insect
I like their approach to naming their products...who else has the balls to name their synth "Synth"??
Members program_insect
Apparently the Synthlite line uses digital oscs with analog filters. The big SynthII actually sounds pretty good IMO. Wish I could have a play in person, but that seems unlikely.
