Members JSRocker Posted October 23, 2006 Members Share Posted October 23, 2006 OK... I know a lot of people say that the Pod models are good but sound a little "digital". It has also been said that you can greatly improve the tone quality by running the pod into an effects loop of a tube/valve amp. Would it have the same effect if I ran a pod through a tube powered pedal, like a Damage Control or EH English Muff'n? I would just want the tube "warming effect" but not the overdrive from the pedal. If this would work, which do you recommend? I'm leaning towards a Damage control brand, because they are a little cheaper, I think. Which one of that brand would give me this effect, unless there is a better cheaper one somewhere.
