Members hangwire
my jeeps cd player is on the way out, and there seem to be cheap 4G ipods on ebay and such all the time. My wife has a G5 ipod and I was thinking of keeping my mp3 player chocie it in the same brand if the connections/cables/ accessories/programs were the same for both... anyone have an expereince with using different generation I pods at the same time? Members angus_old
i think they changed it between those generations. 1&2 and 3&4 can use the same pedals. i think.
Members scott_335
They connect through the dock, so it should be fine. You wont have video obviously.
Members Rushfan2112
A generation 4 iPod still uses the same iTunes that G5 does, and the same USB cables/Firewire (although the new iPod doesn't ship with Firewire cables, I'm not sure if it supports it at all). As for docks, etc., most docks come with little 'inserts' so you can use any size iPod with them. You'll be fine.
