Members inlifeisdeath
Upon booting, I realise that all my shortcuts on the desktop were aligned vertically to the left of the desktop, in a fixed order. I tried rearranging them, but upon hitting refresh, it will revert back to the left, vertically, and in a particular fixed section. Also, upon re-boot, my quicklaunch disappears. So I re-arranged the shortcuts, and activated the quicklaunch, however, when I re-boot, quick launch is gone, and the shortcuts are being rearranged again. The computer name is re-set too. It seems like the system restarted itself or something. It's as if 'auto-arrange' is activated, but it's not! I'm using Windows XP SP2. Thanks for reading, I really need help here.
