Members unit11
What would be a good compressor for around $100 or less? I've been looking at the Guyatone ST-2, the BBE Main Squeeze, and the BBE Opto Stomp, but I have no playing experience with any of these. I want it for guitar and want to be able to do two things: even out my highs and lows and give a thick squish sound, though not necessarily at the same time. Members bloodyfingers
I had one of these once. For the money, you probably won't find a better compressor. Gilmour even used one.http://cgi.ebay.com/BOSS-CS2-CS-2-COMPRESSION-SUSTAINER-COMPRESSOR-VINTAGE_W0QQitemZ150063157333QQihZ005QQcategoryZ41413QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Members unit11
I'm not too hot on buying an ebay pedal for christmas if I can help it, but how well does it work in your experience - works for funk, chicken picking, and cleaning up as well? Anything comparable that is on the market right now?

Members unit11
Looks nice and the reputation would make me say its good, but they only talk about its working like a transparent comp - can it give some funk, too?
Members unit11
Anyone have any first hand experience with the Teese comp? Any other suggestions for around 100? Transparent, chicken pickin' and funk - I want it all... what do you guys suggest?
