ugh, bummer. I was lucky enough to have him hear my record once. For a blip in time we had a sleazy manager who was a leftover from the 80s major label explosion w/hair bands. He was old friends with Ahmet. From what I hear he didn't like the record, but just letting him hear it opened some doors for us at the time. RIP duder.

i mentioned it in the eg thread on this so will do smae here for those who don't cross over

there's a great book about Warner's Records called "Exploding" written by Stan Cornyn (their ad-man for many years) it's funny and lively and smart, and it's 4.98 at half-price etc. bookstores everywhere.
