I live in Manchester in England, anyone have any experience with any luthiers from this area?

Thanks,

Philip.

Very good work, have Plek and probably the best guitar shop in the North West.

No! Horrible, bad music shop. Incapable of setting up, or small electrical maintenance. Horrible experience. I asked for a vol / vol / tone setup on my jazz bass to be wired vol / blend / tone, and instead I got vol / vol / reverse vol. Then the moron told me that that was what a blend pot sounded like. Wanker. Anyhoo:

Good friend/part time business partner of mine for the DCCE stuff.

Excellent work, fair prices, real nice fella. He's based in Whalley Range.

Cool, that seems like a good option. Have you any experience of the workshop place at PMT? The main benefit for me would be that it's within walking distance of my office!
