Members Rusty_Chains Posted December 21, 2006 Members Share Posted December 21, 2006 My powered SKB board currently includes: Monsterpiece NPN FuzzSmall ClonePhase 90Guyatone Wah RockerDynacomp And I have a Sweetsound Mofaux vibe coming in, which will probably replace the Phase 90 and maybe even the Clone. I also have a Diceworks NPN Fuzz, but it can only be powered via battery. I tried running it in the chain as the only battery powered pedal, but it sounded like crap. Erich from Diceworks informed me that the older transistors were not designed to run in a chain with that kind of power. I switched all my pedals to battery power for awhile to accomodate this wonderful fuzz. It sounded great but is a huge pain in the ass. Unplugging my pedals after use just seems like it is going to wear out my jacks and inputs. My SKB board has Effects Loops built in, could I run the Diceworks alone through one of the loops?
