So my akai headrush has at least a faulty jack, but since the the jack didn't appear to have come loose when I opened it up, it might have some major issues. I need delay for a project that I'm in so....

I went to GC and picked up an echo park. Hmmmm.

took it to practice and hooked it up to the rig. It SOUNDS fine. No noise or signal boost issues that I've hear other people complain about. Seems easy to use. I like the tape echo sound best. But it seems to kind of lack vibe.

I actually found the headrush to be a more useful pedal in a lot of ways. Less options, but it does exactly what I want it to do, and I can adjust the tonality of the echoes on the fly with the HF damp control. And I can have control over delay taps.

Maybe I just miss my headrush.... I'm thinking about returning the line 6 for a DD20 (which the store didn't have). But i want to further explore the echo park first since I have 30 days.

Anyone gone from a headrush to an echo park or a DD20?
