Members TeamoDave
My usual mid morning snack is an everything bagel with veggies (lettuce, tomato, onions, sprouts and avocado) and a thin layer of cream cheese. When they don't have the avocado, it just ain't the same.

Members Brett Valentine
Avocados, Olivado Avocado Oil. . . Slice some grilled chicken, some avocados, fresh corn taken off the cob. Add a diced tomato, a dash of chipotle chili powder, some cilantro, you've got a great "Mexican" chicken salad (tastes great cold)! Brett

Members CicadaSilence
They used to freak me out, but my girlfriend kept sneaking them into food she was preparing. Now I can't get enough of 'em. Awesome with sushi.
Members El Glom-o
Not an avocado fan. I don't care for the taste and find the texture repellent. But if you like 'em, chow down, baby. You can have the ones I won't be eating.

Members wacopacco
never had them. I'm not a fan of exotic vegetables. But since avocados have pits, then they must be a fruit. What do they taste like?

Members Brett Valentine
Sounds good, but I think it needs some onions too. Yeah, I leave that up to personal choice. W/o the onions, it's more on the sweet side. For this one, I'd tend to use the green ends of a scallion to keep it lighter. Brett
Members Daeveed
Back home (Chile), avocados are as regular as lettuce. In fact, the common hot-dog is made of the bun, the hotdog, mashed avocado with salt, mayonnaise, and diced tomato. you can add mustard or ketchup. mmmmm.... I am a HUGE fan of avocados, my gf never had them before, and now she's panicking because the cold screwed up a lot of avocadoes in california and now they might go up in price....how do I know this? My Gf is an avocadoholic now, but it's OK, because I am too.
