First time I listened to SAW 1 was in a car, and at the time I remarked about the great production quality. A week or two later I took the CD out of my car and played it on a computer... Yikes! This My Violent Heart doesn't seem to have a high noise floor but I don't think its fully mastered. Some of the clips are too obvious and the dynamics go quite REALLY LOUD even beyond NIN's style. I drive and listen to music at least 1.5hrs a day, so I'm really most familiar with those speakers. The new track hasn't turned me on yet, perhaps its taken out of context. Quite different music that is for Trent, or course it's a true band where compromises are made though. I remember a guy coming on to HC and mentioning that Trent begged to be in some other band before NIN and then quite 6 months after to do NIN.
