Members veil
They can be pretty good. I've played a few. Like most cheap guitars they need some new hardware. New pups are a must. The rest (saddle, pots, etc.) just depend on how picky you are. How's the wood and finish?
Members hbar
That's sweet... Is it a photoquilt or a slab?cI always assumed it was a foto since they're so cheap, but I don't really know.
Members JSD
I always assumed it was a foto since they're so cheap, but I don't really know. I can't speak for all Dillion guitars since there is so much questionable old stock floating around the US but any flame top Dillions that I have carried have been real wood veneered tops like just about any guitar in this price range. Members Tedddy
i have a MIK dillion les paul copy since 2002 and it is my most solid guitar, the tuners and hardware are excellent. My PRS has to be constantly intonated and truss rod adjusted, whereas I've never had to adjust my dillion, it is so solid. i routed the pickup cavity to install a gfs filtertron and can clearly see the two layers of wood, so its def not photo top.
