Guest Anonymous
I have not observed any volume drops with mine. Carvin DC200C > 6' Hosa > Mesa-F50 combo. No problems whatsoever.
Members warioblast
Thx guys. I read several reviews where people mentionned they didn't reach unity gain even with the volume on 10... I've done a couple DIY clones but wasn't fully satisfied with the result. short clip of my clone It misses THAT little thing. I would call it the "hornet factor". Today I decided to have a last try, and put the fuzzrite on my breadboard. I think I'm getting close to the real thing, based on what I heard on clips and songs known to have the fuzzrite on it. E.G.: http://jukebox.peterlink.ru/cgi-bin/play.m3u?instrumental/ventures/1966_6:2 So I'm gonna make the best I can tomorrow with my breadboard and if it still doesn't sound the way I want to, I guess I'm gonna buy the Ashbass. Hey Doug, do you mind sharing some infos on your clone.

If he modded it, it was most likely for the volume correction. Even dimed it has a volume drop. Crazy stuff. Sounds pretty good after the mod though.
