Members Eye_Of_The_Liger
Here's my setup: VHT Valvulator-->Keeley DS-1-->Bad Monkey-->Chorus-->Delay-->Vox Pathfinder 15R (solidstate practice amp) As I've mentioned here before, I have the BM in between the DS-1 and my amp because that's the only way I can keep the DS-1 from sounding to raspy. I was thinking maybe a compressor would smooth things out a little better, and if it works well enough I can switch the dirt pedals around so I can have the BM driving the DS-1, which is how I would rather have it. Thoughts?
Members konsole
You could plop a comp after your DS-1, to smooth out the sound a bit. Stick some mods in that DS-1 if your looking for a decent sound from it!
Members NITEFLY182
Youre really just polishing a turd as it seems. A better solution would be changing drive pedals. There really is no reason to limit your dynamic range on purpose. That can all be accomplished with technique.
