Members ryan_adelphi
MJM London Fuzz, preferred by some over the AM Sunface. I dig it, mine has a 500k level pot that trims some of that woofy bass.listen to the clips:www.mjmguitarfx.com

Members benmuky
Am I missing something? Surely the logical choice is the exact circuit he used which is the Roger Mayer stuff?
Members telephant
In my experience, Roger Mayer fuzzes are very inconsistant and generally sound like ass.
Members alteredsounds
Checkout the KR range Gypsy Fuzz etc and Hot Silicon is the one for later Jimi.

The new Dunlop Fuzz Face uses BC108 Silicon Transistors. Mrbluetone is looking for a Germanium Fuzz.
Members thebazaar
foxrox cc2 is great. ive also got an mi audio neo fuzz kickin around. does a fairly decent job when running into an already cookin amp. lots of tone controls too.

Members StevieRaveOn68
In my experience, Roger Mayer fuzzes are very inconsistant and generally sound like ass. yeah and they dont cut worth a {censored} live.get a Fulltone '69, gut the board , order some sockets from Small Bear, and some NOS transistors(i recommend Mullards) and build your own.the KR Gypsy Fuzz though a Hybrid not silicon or straight Germanium is killer! thick sounding fuzz and cleans up like a germanium. the Sweetsound Filmore West sounds good too but its a silicon.
