Members anubae_obcura
Since im getting into this fx thing i would like to hear some thoughts on different bands. Im mainly a stoner, metal, prog head. But, I would like some fx laden bands that are in vein of Pink Floyd, Radiohead, etc. Surprise me. Im needing a new genre.... Im really liking the trippy delay stuff.... Thanks

Members gusvolta
Yndi Halda, Boards of Canada, Melt Banana, Swervedriver, My Bloody Valentine, The Guest Bedroom, Do Make Say Think, Foreign Islands, Gringo Star, Deerhunter, Russian Circles, Pelican, and Isis ok he's not gonna download the entire discography of that many bands, i say lets be more sepecific um yeah the mars volta uses tons of effects, listen to their first cd, Deloused in the comatorium, it has nothing but great songs, so you cant go wrong with it =D i personally like the use of phaser by the band COLD, like on their song "no one" and "end of the world" or the use of delay on their song "the day seattle died" incubus uses lots of effects too
