Members denimboy
I have hiss coming from my chain. At first I thought it was a frequency in the room that my amp or cable were picking up. It did it when straight into the head so I didn't thought it was my chain. But yesterday I tried someone elses amp (in that same room) and there was still that hiss. However, without the pedals, hiss dissapeared. Here's my chain: Guitar -> Big Muff Pi -> TU-2 -> Micro Amp -> Micro Synthesizer -> Amplifier In effects loop: Send -> Holy Grail -> 6 Band EQ -> Nano Small Stone -> DD-6 -> Return Power supply: Godlyke Powerall, EHX adapter for Micro Synth. Members ChuckNorris1982
I've heard it said that using the same powerall/onespot type adapter to power pedals that are in front of the amp AND in the effects loop can cause hum and hiss. I haven't had any experience of this myself, but it might be the cause. try running either the front end or the loop effects on batteries or a different power supply to see if that's it. Members ChuckNorris1982
Well i used my dunlop brick (which is a glorified onespot) that way too with no problems, but i have heard some people say it caused problems for them. I guess it depends on your rig. Could be {censored}ty patch cables though.
