Members Crxsh
Okay... so I just got a phase 90 and it's bugging me that I can't use it with my Boss daisy chain. Is there a way to modify this pedal so that I could use a Boss barrel style power adapter? I've seen this done with Small Clones and stuff.... but that's EHX, is it possible for MXR? As a side rant, I don't even get why the phase 90 doesn't have the typical 9v barrel. My MXR Super Comp uses one... so does the ZW-44. Both of my similar EHX pedals use one too... LAME! Members dangerous dan
My EVH phase 90 has a 'Boss' 9V barrel, what's special about your Phase 90- then ?
Members MuffFuzz
The only worthwhile mod for the Phase 90 is to upgrade to a Nano Small Stone!
Members andreas
I assume yours is the older version with the 1/8" adapter jack - if so, one of these is your friend: Even older ones didn't even have an adapter jack - you could have one installed, or use one of these: Btw, for the pedals without adapter jack, a Zvex Power Plate will work as well - it'll cost a bit more, but you also get power filtering and polarity protection. Plus you won't have to hack into the box to get the wires to pass through with the bottom screwed on. /Andreas
Members Crxsh
Yeah... maybe mine is older... but it's got the 1/8" adapter on it. I'll look into the adapter .. or maybe just ditching it alltogether in favor of one of the new ones. Thanks!
