Members Destructobot
If so, buy one now. Even if it sucks balls prices will go though the roof.
Members blackjack davey
Ah, who cares anyway. I just got one on Music123 for 76.50 with free shipping! It was going for $85 but they give you another 10% off for buying a blemished one.
Members melx
I've not seen them cheap here, maybe they just aren't selling very well?
Members Noise...
Damn. I want one. Especially for $75! That's half what they usually go for. Is it a good choice for an octave fuzz though?

Members Noise...
I'm fine with a volume drop - what I want to know is if it's a good octave fuzz. I really don't care about volume drop much.
Members orange worker
i had one, didn't experience too much of a volume drop. got plenty loud when it was dimed. as far as the octave fuzz - it sounds good. very muddy though. good for single notes or sludge, but not great for chording. I loved the low setting without the boost on. nice fuzzy quasi acoustic sound.

Members orange worker
If you play higher up on the neck it gets them, but any low notes sound real muddy & dissonant. If you listen to the breakdown on Bullet with Butterfly Wings (the part during/after 'jesus was the only son for you') you can hear what i mean about the muddiness. Members orange worker
$75 is really a good price. You can always throw it up on ebay for $100 or resell it for $75 anyday of the week.

True... How low-gain will it go? Is it responsive to picking dynamics and volume controls?
Members orange worker
I used the non-boost setting alot - very responsive, almost an acoustic quality to it.
Members Noise...
Well now I have to buy it. How bad could the blem on it be? Is it likely just minor scratches?
Members orange worker
Probably. They are built like tanks. I wouldn't hesitate at that price.

Members blackjack davey
The way I see it is that in a worst case scenario I can also use my EQ to bump up any potential volume drop.
