Members inuitdream
Are they basically the same pedal? What can the POG do that the PS3 can't and vise versa? Appreciate some advice here. :poke:
Members ninjaaron
They are not the same at all. PS-3 combines pitch-shifting and delay, and it can do a variety of different intervals above and below, one pitch in some modes, and two in others. The quality of the shifting isn't super amazing, but it's decent.http://www.bossarea.com/loadpage.asp?file=boxes/ps3.xml The POG only does octaves, and it does them very well; octave down, octave up, and two octaves up. The octaves can be slightly detuned as well, and there is a lo-pass filter at the end of the signal path so you can cut some of the really high and piercing freq's out of the sound. Great for imitating a Hammond organ sound. Not the same at all.
Members Fender&EHX4ever
Not the same at all. +1 PS-3 is kind of a multi-fx pedal that can be a delay, a non-cyclical chorus, an octaver, a harmonizer, and an all-out freaky noise box.
