Members Jessz1
I have a DS1 and a SD1. I use the SD a lot but it sucks some bass. The DS is just muddy. Not as good of a boost. Any good mods for them that anyone has experience with?
Members Crxsh
Check out JHSmods in my sig. I'm sending my Boss BD-2 Blues Driver in for his mod tomorrow morning. He's got some sick mods from how it sounds... and they're priced pretty well too. If you want to do it yourself yourself though... check out the Monte Allums 808 mod for your SD-1. I had that done and it sounded KILLER.

Members spentron
My simple SD-1 mod is increase the bandwidth. It does reduce what's cool about the pedal about 5% but you can actually turn the thing off and on with the same amp setting. I'd have to pull my old one apart to remember what it was, but if you're DIY it was something like double the cap to ground in the feedback loop of the 1st stage to extend uncut bass an octave, and halve the cap to ground following that stage to increase the treble rolloff freq. by an octave. This technique can be applied to a lot of pedals.
